Another pinch-me moment for 2026!
This is a dream come true! My artwork was selected to be featured in the hallway of Novant's Scotts Hill Medical Center just north of Wilmington. The design of the new hospital is focused on healing through coastal design and art. Each floor has art that is unique to that space. The whole facility is impeccably designed, and I am so happy about the pieces they selected and the placement of them (just inside the main entrance, right by the cafe so everyone sees them!).
When I applied in November, I considered it a long shot honestly. There were tons of applicants, the application itself was kind of complex, and due to my scattered brain lately, I applied the night that it was due (after my kids went to bed!). I sat there at my desk for hours trying to put together that proposal. I applied for this grouping of 4 paintings in the hallway as well as a bunch of other featured locations that were on the floor plans.

Working with Novant has been very smooth. They had a meet-and-greet with all the artists back in March, but I had another engagement with the Azalea Festival that night so I could not attend. I was able to go measure the space with the designer in early April so that the pieces would be the perfect size for the space.
Canvas print options are coming to my website very soon! If you are looking for one of my giclee paper prints to be made as a giclee canvas print, this will be an option.
There is an opening day for the community to come take a tour on Saturday June 13th from 9-11am. Come by and take a look for yourself!
