Extra, extra, read all about it! This month, Wilmington Magazine is making a colorful splash by featuring my artwork on the cover! This is a close-up of the Azalea Festival Piece: "Where the Oaks Meet."
When I posed for these pictures on Country Club Road, it was late January. The town was preparing to get a historical 6" of snow and the cold front was arriving. The day was sunny, but it was merely 35 degrees when I stood out there in my spring dress. I had my down jacket nearby and would pose with it on while the photographer would check the lighting and settings. Then, my fabulous assistant Alana would run over and quickly take my coat while I smiled and tried not to get goosebumps.
